Flowers on Friday: Front Planter *Update*

Our front planter is filling in nicely, we had a couple of dicey days where the potato vines wilted in the sun, but we pulled it back and they're now starting to cascade down the urn!!

We'll be working a bit on the guest room this weekend, I'm hoping to have new curtains for the windows!!! Fingers crossed there's no sewing machine breakdowns . . . from the machine or me :)

  6. Ugh! No wonder mine are not doing well. I have them in pots on the hot south facing back deck and believe me they do not look like yours. At all. I really thought they were good in full sun Yours are so beautiful. Good job. So not only do you need to come to Calgary to organize for me but you need to landscape for me too! Hee.

  7. I thought they loved sun too!! Apparently they love South or west facing but in the shade a bit . . . Ours have always done well facing south or west but pulled back on the porch a bit!! :) Hope that helps, I darn near killed mine with direct sunlight! But the tag says full sun . . . liars :) hehe

  8. Lol...liars is right! I wonder too if I need to buy a bigger plant to begin with rather than the 2.5 cheapie pot. I'm thinking our less than 3 month growing season doesn't give it enough time to "mature". HEY!........how about next season you post the shopping list for plants you are buying and then I'll know what the heck to buy too! Well if you won't come here that's the least you can do! ;) I kid.

You're too funny! If I'm ever in Alberta I'll let you know!!!
We have about the same growing season here :) It's probably a good idea to start a bit bigger . . . fuller is always better (in boobs and in planters) haha J/K
Next year I will definitely come up with a list at the start of the season :)
    Lots of Love
